Sinopsis

El General Zod, que parecía estar muy tranquilo últimamente, ha contactado con Ra's al Ghul con un objetivo demencial: resucitar a los ciudadanos de Kandor. Así empieza un volumen en que Superman y Batman van a tener que enfrentarse a algunos enemigos de toda la vida. E incluso es posible que alguno tenga éxito. Así, cuando los Mejores del Mundo desaparecen, les corresponde a Acero y a Batwoman investigar lo sucedido. Y por si fuera poco, ¿qué traman Batmito y Mr. Mxyzptlk? Terminada la saga inaugural de la colección Batman/Superman, donde los dos héroes se enfrentaron al Batman Que Ríe y a sus esbirros forzosos, el guionista Joshua Williamson recurre a la épica superheroica más pura para contarnos una sucesión de historias donde, aparte de los mencionados Ra's al Ghul y Zod, veremos a villanos como el Ultra-Humanita en un volumen dibujado por autores de la talla de Nick Derington, Clayton Henry, Gleb Melnikov, Max Raynor o Dale Eaglesham.
